Donate to the Paducah Power System School Challenge!

Christmas is nearing, which means it’s time for the annual can drive by the Paducah Power System. 

Students and families can donate all sorts of canned food until December 15 by either dropping them off in the school lobby, at the Christmas in the Park light display at Noble Park, or donate online at the website paducahpower.com. The Christmas in the Park light display also accepts cash donations of any sum. 

These proceeds will be distributed among our local food banks to give those who are underprivileged the food they need during the holidays. The helping agencies that receive the food donations include Family Service Society, Paducah Cooperative Ministry, Saint Vincent de Paul, and the Salvation Army. 

Our food drive is being run by Mrs. Joyce Kratz and is supported by the student body, so please feel free to contribute to help the less fortunate. 

The School Challenge has gathered over 193.7 tons of food between 12 local schools over the last 13 years and the numbers just keep rising thanks to the generosity of the public.
